Wood Education and Resource Center Leads Development of Online Training Information Exchange System
The system matches training preferences identified by system users with available training offerings. Participating training organizations can register available courses online through the Online Training Services Registry System. A notice will be sent to users once a match has been made between training needs and an available course with additional information about course content, contact information, and related data.
An initial version of the system will be available by mid fall for testing and comment by potential users. The system is planned to be operational by early 2008. For more information about the Training Information Exchange System or to leave a comment about the system, please contact Fred Lamb at fml195@vt.edu.
