The latest edition of the Proceedings of the National Urban Forest Conference has just been published. With 91 papers, the 320 page book is the largest edition ever produced by American Forests. This written collection taken from the Engineering Green's general sessions, concurrent sessions and in-depth workshops represents a snapshot of what's new in the urban forest movement in the U.S. today. Section headings include: Ecology and Conservation; New Technology; Incentives and New Regulations; Education; Planning, Design, and Management; Taking Stock, and Making Connections. The National Urban Forest Conference was held in San Antonio, Texas in September 2003.
