The 8th Southern Forestry and Natural Resources GIS Conference will be held at The Georgia Center for Continuing Education in Athens, Georgia on December 11-13. The 8th SOFOR GIS Conference will encompass topics related to the use of GIS and other geospatial technologies in forestry and natural resource management. This year, we plan to expand the "practical" nature of the program and have about a 50/50 mix of these types of presentations and research presentations.
