Responsibilities will include but are not limited to evaluation and assessment of woody biomass feedstock inventories and management potential for Mississippi, preparing manuscripts and reports, communicating research progress with project team, and training and supervising undergraduate students.

Department of Forestry, Mississippi State University
Qualifications: A Bachelor of Science degree or a Master of Science degree in forestry, agricultural economics, forest biometrics, or a related field, and a demonstrated ability to work with limited supervision. Experience conducting research in bio-energy, financial analysis, geographical information systems, and/or regression analysis is preferred.

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to evaluation and assessment of woody biomass feedstock inventories and management potential for Mississippi, preparing manuscripts and reports, communicating research progress with project team, and training and supervising undergraduate students.
Salary: This is a full-time, twelve-month, non-tenure track, time-limited position. Initial appointment will be for a one-year period with the opportunity for further employment based on the quality of duties performed. Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Position is contingent on availability of funding. A benefits package is available.
The Department of Forestry: The Department of Forestry is one of three departments in the College of Forest Resources and the Mississippi Forest and Wildlife Research Center, a separately-funded state agency.
