Assistant/Associate Professor of Forest Resource Management, Stephen F. Austin State University
The Arthur Temple College of Forestry and Agriculture seeks candidates for a tenure-track Assistant/Associate Professor of Forest Resource management position, The incumbent will teach undergraduate and graduate courses each fall and spring semester that relate to the management of forests and related natural and environmental resources.

Essential Job Functions: teach undergraduate and graduate courses in forest and resources management; develop and offer courses that may be independently or co-taught with another faculty member; participate in the review and modification of the undergraduate forestry curriculum; develop a successful research program related to forest and resource management in the Gulf Coastal Plain; collaborate with other researchers in the College's Forest Resource Institute; participate in outreach and service to the College, University, forestry professionals, and citizens of Texas;
Minimum Qualifications:
1. a Ph.D in forest resource management or a closely related field, with at least one degree in Forestry
2. demonstrated ability to work effectively as a member of an interdisciplinary team
3. an interest in working with other faculty and staff to develop service-based learning, internships, and experiences that develop higher-order competencies
Preferred Qualifications:
1. an interest in the scholarship of teaching and learning
2. an interest in distance education and technology-assisted teaching, outreach, and engagement
