University of Missouri Forestry Extension Specialist

The University of Missouri's Department of Forestry is seeking a forester who enjoys working with private forest landowners in a state with approximately 75% of its forested resources in private ownership, and who can develop a new, creative strategy to reach these landowners. We seek the person who can take a leadership role in forestry extension and is skilled in developing collaborative working arrangements with federal and state resource agencies such as the Missouri Department of Conservation's new Private Lands Program, designed to actively engage the owners of private lands in the management of their natural resources.
