QUALIFICATIONS
Ph.D. in forest management, planning and policy, natural resourcemanagement or closely related areas. Post Doctoral research experiencehighly desirable.
DESCRIPTION
This position involves teaching graduate and undergraduate courses inurban and community forestry, developing new courses and advisingundergraduate and graduate students. The individual is expected toteach the following courses: urban forest management, urban forestmeasurements, urban forest planning and policy and more. The positionrequires an individual with interest in students and a willingness tobe involved with all faculty responsibilities at the Program, Collegeand University levels. Interaction with urban and community forestryand other natural resource agencies and organizations will be expected.The incumbent will be expected and encouraged to develop a strongresearch program focused on urban forest management, planning andpolicy to address the key priorities in urban and community forestry.Start-up support: is available, as well as on going stronginstitutional support.
