Type of Appointment: Twelve-month, tenure-trackResponsibilities: Teaching and research in urban forestry:
- Teach undergraduate courses in urban forestry
- Advise undergraduates and supervise graduate students
- Conduct research in the area of urban forestry and publish theresults in refereed literature
- Acquire external grants and contracts to fund an innovativeresearch program
- Participate in directing a departmental urban forestry option forundergraduates
- Participate in outreach programs of the department and college
- Participate in university service and the governance system
Salary: Commensurate with education and experience
Deadline: October 1, 2001, or until a suitable candidate isselected
Starting Date: Negotiable, with a target of January 1, 2002
