Assistant or Associate Professor of Forestry- A tenure track 9-month academic year position teaching courses in silviculture; regional silviculture; forest soils and/or ecology; introductory natural resource courses and graduate level courses as part of the 12 credit teaching requirement. Teaching 3 to 6 weeks during the summer at the CNR Treehaven Field Station for additional compensation is required. Opportunities exist for involvement in international agency partnerships and programs. Qualifications require a Ph.D. earned or near completion in an area with an emphasis in silviculture. Preference will be given for field experience, demonstrated excellence in undergraduate teaching, demonstrated ability to work with students in field applications, and applied research. Experience in and a desire to work with diverse populations of learners and stakeholders is desirable.
