Pulpwood Prices in the Southeast, 1992 (4 pages)

In 1992, mill expenditures for pulpwood in the Southeast increased more than 16 percent to $1.9 billion. The weighted average price for roundwood increased over 14 percent for both hardwood and softwood roundwood.Trucking, which accounted for 72 percent of delivered roundwood, continues to be the primary mode of transportation for all types of roundwood pulpwood.
