First International Conference on Wood Protection with Diffusible Preservatives (143 pages)

These proceedings are intended as a "state-of-the-art" compilation of the knowledge and use of diffusible preservatives for wood protection in the United States. On behalf of the conference co-chairmen, I thank all the participants, especially those from other countries, for making this a truly international conference. We are especially grateful to the foreign participants who shared their knowledge on the use of diffusible preservatives through oral presentations and written papers. I would also like to thank the staff of the Forest Products Research Society (FPRS) for the outstanding job they have done in advertising and conducting this conference and in compiling and publishing these proceedings. FPRS, of course, will continue to be the source of additional copies of these proceedings.
