Effective Kudzu Control (5 pages)

Kudzu is perhaps the largest nonwoody weed problem in forest management in the South. From a beginning of being planted for erosion control along rights-of-way and gullies, kudzu now exists in patches as large as 100 acres. It will overtop trees and kill them even after they attain full height growth, and kudzu can quickly overtake newly planted seedlings and turn a plantation of trees into a kudzu patch.
