First Call for Papers and Posters - 16th Biennial Southern Silvicultural Research Conference (BSSRC)

Please consider presenting a paper or poster at the 16th Biennial Southern Silvicultural Research Conference (BSSRC), including the special session, Southern Forest Science in Support of a Low Carbon Economy. Please visit our web page for conference details: http://www.ncsu.edu/feop/BSSRC.

  • Concurrent session papers and posters can be on any aspect of silviculture.
  • Multiple abstract submissions must be filed separately.
  • Acceptance notices and final presentation agendas will be announced by August 13, 2010.
  • Once accepted, presenters should register for the conference within 30 days to acknowledge their participation.
  • Proceedings: All oral presenters are required to submit a full paper which will be published in a conference proceedings, a General Technical Report (GTR) by the Southern Research Station. Poster presenters may choose to submit a complete paper, a one-page summary, or neither. Formatted papers for inclusion in the proceedings are due to the conference proceedings committee on March 1, 2011.
  • Deadline for abstract submissions is May 14, 2010, 5pm ET.
