Tamara L. Cushing joined Clemson University's Department of Forestry & Natural Resources as an Assistant Professor and Extension Forestry Specialist in January.

Tammy will also have teaching and research responsibilities but hopes to combine these three areas into a programming area that highlights the importance of family forests in Clemson and across the South. Among her areas of expertise are timber taxation, forest economics and forest management. She will also be working with the Tree Farm program in South Carolina.
