VA Woods & Wildlife Conference Announced
The Woods and Wildlife Conference for owners of large and small tracts of land will be held on Saturday, February 23, 2008 in Roanoke for individuals, families, managers and interested persons to learn about woods, wildlife and other natural resources. The day will provide participants with multiple links to information, new ideas to implement, and a better understanding of their natural resources.
array('c', 'A variety of topics will be presented including: Forest fire history and use, Forest Ecology, Emerging Wildlife Diseases, Backyard Woods enhancement, Growing Christmas Trees, Land Conservation Strategies, Invasive Species Control and much more!<BR><BR>The all day conference is a virtual one-stop-shop for individuals, families, managers and interested persons to learn about woods, wildlife and other natural resources. The day will provide participants with multiple links to information, possible sources of financial assistance and a better understanding of their natural resources. <BR><BR>The cost of this conference is $30.00/person, which includes morning and afternoon breaks, lunch and a conference packet.
