- Registration information coming soon!
About this meeting: Our goal is to bring together as many southern Extension forest resource specialists as possible in order to review major issues, learn what is currently being done, and plan any needed regional projects. This will be especially useful for Extensionists who have been working in the field for fewer than 5 years.
The meeting will be a combination of presentations, discussions and smaller working groups on a variety of important subjects. Example topics are identifying audiences, developing and delivering impactful programs, measuring and evaluating programs, and marketing the results of your programs. Other topics proposed, per our Coordinators, include such “big bucket” areas as the region-al coordination of wildland fire, urban forestry, wildlife, wood products, forest health and management, and intergenerational transfer.
